March to April 2015, I was given the opportunity to go to Japan for a training. It was indeed my first out-of-the-country experience and it was for FREE. Yes, you read it right 🙂 Of course, everything was shouldered by the company. It was really a blessing!
Hopefully, I can give you all the important details you may want to know about Kagoshima, Japan.
A cold weather welcomed me as I arrived at Fukuoka airport. It feels like you are in an airconditioned room.
Kagoshima is yet a long drive from Fukuoka. We ride on a train and then hopped on a Shinkansen. This is what they call a bullet train – very classy, comfortable and expensive (Though I’m not sure how much did the company pay for us).
We arrived at Kagoshima-Chūō Station and from there we were fetched by a car.
We had dinner at Joy Cafe which offers unlimited drinks. Wow, this was my first authentic Japanese dinner — Oishi ne’!
After dinner, we checked-in in an affordable (that’s what they say) but a very clean hotel. Everything’s complete — from a hair dryer to an unlimited cup of tea. Of course, the staff are courteous. What would you expect from a Japanese 🙂 Well, if you are traveling having your own itinerary and you want to find an affordable place to stay, you can always explore various accomodation in this link. I’ve been using this site through out my travels and staycations (I think 5 times already) so guaranteed convenient and credible 👍 By the way, you’ll get 10% refund upon check out when you book through the link so don’t miss that okay? 🙂
This was how my first day ended. More on travel hours. However, my stay in Kagoshima, Japan was all worth it. I have experienced many things and let me share with you the top things you CAN or MUST do in this place 🙂 See you on my next blog!
