Kagoshima, Japan Travel Experience

March to April 2015, I was given the opportunity to go to Japan for a training. It was indeed my first out-of-the-country experience and it was for FREE. Yes, you read it right ๐Ÿ™‚ Of course, everything was shouldered by the company. It was really a blessing!

Hopefully, I can give you all the important details you may want to know about Kagoshima, Japan.

A cold weather welcomed me as I arrived at Fukuoka airport. It feels like you are in an airconditioned room.

16 degree Celsius – as a Filipino, this is already too cold for me

Kagoshima is yet a long drive from Fukuoka. We ride on a train and then hopped on a Shinkansen. This is what they call a bullet train – very classy, comfortable and expensive (Though I’m not sure how much did the company pay for us).

We arrived at Kagoshima-Chลซล Station and from there we were fetched by a car.

We had dinner at Joy Cafe which offers unlimited drinks. Wow, this was my first authentic Japanese dinner — Oishi ne’!

After dinner, we checked-in in an affordable (that’s what they say) but a very clean hotel. Everything’s complete — from a hair dryer to an unlimited cup of tea. Of course, the staff are courteous.
